Who doesn’t kill a lover every now and again?
Manny Pacquiao is a professional boxing champion and a Philippine Congressman.
He said that people in gay relationships are worse than animals.
I thought those asking what this was all about were just kidding. :smack:
the_diego’s idea of fun is to threaten girls with knives, so yeah a guy who murdered his girlfriend probably is his kind of guy. And his anti-gay bigotry is nothing new, he’s been spouting that since he first joined.
So just to be clear, your position is that Manny Pacquiao is a great guy, homophobia is A-OK, and Nike is the bad guy in this story; Is that about right?
Pretty much, although I don’t think it’s homophobia. In fact, I don’t even believe there’s such a thing. I sure am not scared of them. And yeah, he’s a great guy. He doesn’t beat up his wife, or spend his money in ridiculous ways. And he’s probably helped gays in our country much more than they realize.
Yeah, great guy. Cheating on his wife, cheating on his taxes, using steroids, great guy.
To add to that… murdering your girlfriend and cheating in your profession for huge gain, while running everyone else down in the process? Also a great thing. This guy has high ideas. HIGH ideas, I tells ya.
What cheating on taxes? Submitting documents late? That wasn’t his fault. Can’t comment on the other forms of cheating, though. Paavo Nurmi probably did worse and they built him a statue.
You Sir are dumb as a bag of hair.
Thanks. I need reminding, peasant.
Is peasant supposed to be an insult?
How come you can’t tell?
Because it’s coming from you, so it’s probably a term of respect.
You seem to use it as an insult. I would not consider it so, do you?
Irrelevant then. But swerving back to the topic, Nike made a pure business decision. They sell intangibles as much as they do shoes. Dropping Pacquiao doesn’t make them a-holes. But screw them for their supposed beliefs.
Cheaters and murderers? O-Kaay, then…
Here’s a tip, one foreigner to another: class-based insults don’t work on Americans.
That’s why he asked. No harm done then?
Sounds like he’s butthurt that people can decide to not do business with idiots.
