Slightly cross-eyed women. Attractive?

A buddy of mine mentioned recently that he found women that are slightly cross-eyed to be very attractive.
I found his comment to be very interesting because I agree that there is something about a woman being slightly cross-eyed that can make her very cute or pretty.
(cross-eyes being ones that go slightly in, not out).

Maybe the same can be applied to women finding similar men attractive, I do not know.

Anyway, anyone else find this to be an attractive trait ?
Also, why would my friend and I find it to be attractive ? Just curious as to what would make it an attractive trait.

The weird thing is, I thought being a bit crosseyed was a prerequisite for becoming an US newsreader/anchor, because almost all of them seemed cross-eyed. But then I realised that’s what happens when they look at the camera and a teleprompter at the same time.

Huh? In a normal TV news setup, the prompter covers the camera lens. How would you look at the camera and the prompter at the same time when you can’t see the camera?

I guess maybe if the camera is too close, they could appear crosseyed, though I’ve worked in TV news (and watch it pretty obsessively) and I’ve never noticed that…

I can’t say whether guys find her attractive, but I’ve always thought Jane Kaczmarek has a slightly cross-eyed look (and frankly, it creeps me out a little bit).

China does seem to have a very large population of cute cross-eyed women, so I am happy :slight_smile:

Not sure I find it attractive. I first thought of these two, not sure if they’re cross eyed but there’s something odd about the alignment of the pupils.

Michaela Conlin would look better if she wasn’t:

Barbra was sexy in her early movies but that was more how she acted than her looks.

They aren’t cross-eyed, they are looking to one side! This is what I think of when I hear cross-eyed.

I’m not basing it on those photos but rather seeing them on tv. They might not be cross eyed exactly but one eye points in a slightly different direction than the other!

One of my first girlfriends, in about grade 7, had this trait, and I found it attractive: still do, but I have no idea why.

I don’t find it attractive. I am put off since I react as if they are shifty.

Slightly cross-eyed is not too bad and can be somewhat attractive. However, we have a local newswoman who is seriously cross-eyed, and it creeps me the hell out. I can’t stand to watch her because her cross-eyed-ness is so distracting.

Because of their shape, my daughter has pseudostrabismus. Depending on the angle it looks like she has crossed eyes but the ophthalmologist says it’s just eye shape.

She’s certainly a cutie.

Many years ago, the love of my life was slightly cross-eyed (and slightly bow-legged to boot!).
