Why does it take my non-stick pans forever to dry? Hand or machine washed, the insides stay wet looong after everything else is dry.
Can I write refused on a letter or does the post office have to stamp it? Can I refuse junk mail?
I’ve noticed the pills get larger if left on. I don’t know how the rate of pilling (pillage?) changes though. Would you reach a maximum pill level if they all stayed on, tying up all the little fuzzies? Great, I’ll never get to sleep tonight.
15yrs ago when i got my driving licence i raced a friend of mine (as you do) along a dual carriageway. we had identical cars, old mini’s, i was catching him up doing 5,000rpm in 3rd, went to change into 4th and put into 2nd instead. the experience was the same as above, must of gone way over the engine limitations in terms of rpm, lasted about 2 secs. i had to pull over about 100meters later with the temp gauge in the red and steam pouring out of the engine. cooked it. not to be recommended.
Because “que lastima!” is Spanish for “what a shame!” Maybe they should’ve picked a different route
IANAV, but IAACO. Cats are highly responsive to certain human vocal sounds over others, for some reason; for example, they’re more likely to respond when addressed with a name that ends in a long ‘e’. That, supposedly, is the other reason why “Kitty” is the most common cat name in America.* “Psst Psst Psst” is probably just another one of those sounds–perhaps because of its relative frequency?
This data is not only around ten years old, but gleaned rather sketchily from cat books I read as a child. I give no warranty.
The question I really wanted to know about was completely ignored here: Was it delicious with ketchup?
