Smith and Saldana

So I’m reading the review of Colombiana, which sounds like an older “The Professional,” and see the name of the actress Zoe Saldana. I did a google search of images of her and I’m thinking, “hey, she looks like Jada Pinkett Smith.” So I do a screen capture of one image of Zoe, then I do a screen capture of another picture of Jada and put them side by side and note the differences, Zoe has a slightly wider mouth than Jada.

Anyway, I then wonder if I’m the first to notice this, probably not right?

So I go back to google images and type in Zoe and Jada and there are lots of side by side images of them. The image from cheezburger.com used the same images for their side by side as I used for my side by side. Except they put Jada on the right and I put her on the left.

You are not the first person to notice this. Here is a flikr posting from 2007 which asks if Pinkett-Smith and Saldana were separated at birth.

Certainly their faces are extremely similar.

I personally never noticed their extremely similar faces before. Even more, I’ve never thought Pinkett-Smith was very attractive (I’ve always thought her face was kind of pinched looking) while I’ve thought Saldana was attractive. I’d better go get my eyesight checked.
