I have an allergy and it causes me to sneeze. But when I sneeze, I only sneeze twice. Not once or three times but twice. (Reminds me of the Holy Hand Grenade instructions). So my question is: Why only twice? Does my body release only enough histamine for two sneezes or what?
Count yourself lucky. When I have a cold or an allergic reaction (cottonwood is the worst for me), start counting, because I never know how many are coming. A couple of weeks I was suffering from a particularly rough cold and was out in the shop at work. The fumes from the gas-plasma cutter got to me and I let out 8 consecutive sneezes. Three seems to be the most common number I have to endure at a time.
