Bo actually reminds me of this guy I know in his mid-50s, gauche but basically harmless, just really socially maladept and hugely into his sci-fi, every time we met he’d blurt out “May the Force be with you” and scurry his room to watch Doctor Who. I was always a bit nonplussed about how to be friendly with him, but then I took to answering him with “Hail Ming!”, and he fucking lit up and then we could chat. So, Bo, Hail Ming!

If you do a search, you find out that it’s 211 times, not 137. Since I did that search at the start of this thread, and he’s done it several more times, here, the number has probably gone up a bit. There is such a thing as ‘carrying a joke too far’, but he’s too much of an idiot to understand that concept. Pat him on the head, and recognize his obvious mental disfunction, and ignore the fool. It’s all he deserves.
