Y’know, we’ve been handed some really disappointing series endings in the past few years. And the 2-hour recap with the Lost producers sort of addressed that: they said they wanted to end in a way that showed they respected the viewers and the six years we spent on the show.
I’d say that the Lost finale … “worked”. Not “made sense” or “was the best solution to being written into a corner” or “answered at least half of the questions”. But it worked.
Now, if only there’d been a polar bear in that church…
