It was at a Philly suburbs Dope get together. We all met for dinner (maybe lunch, but I’m pretty sure it was dinner). I think we all did it two or three times.
No, there are still some. One is coming up in Boston soon but I don’t know if I can attend.
Dozens I guess, not sure how many in all. It would be good to have another Jersey Dopefest but I am not up to hosting one currently. Maybe we could figure out some other way to get together.
Not counting the two who I live with, I met 8 or 10 at a DopeFest in San Francisco a few years ago.
I definitely remember the one out at Calif. Pizza Kitchen in KofP that Rockle came to – were you at the one at Phil’s at Broadaxe? and/or the one at the Persian place in Lafayette Hill?

I think the making of plans is probably in the archives somewhere but I wouldn’t even know what to search on.
Maybe we could try to do it again. (Or maybe there are current regular get-togethers that I haven’t been aware of.)

I was a charter member of the B.A.D.'s, more or less. Most of my close friends when I lived in SF were from the boards. There were the semi-regular get-togethers, there was the SLO-Dope, there were the two NYC-Dopes I went to.
Oh, I’ve had some adventures with my fellow Dopers over the years. Now I’m an old fuck living in the armpit of nowhere in New England. I haven’t laid eyes on a fellow Doper years.

More than 40, less than 75. Pretty good population in the Twin Cities, and we’ve had a couple of well attended Dopefests . Met Dopers in Seattle, Dublin, and Texas.
The only thing I regret is not meeting QED when I was in DC. We just couldn’t make our schedules sync. I should have made a better effort.

You all should head down to the Waxhaw Pub Crawl, hosted by our own Southern Yankee in April. It’s fun, it shoots business to Downtown Waxhaw (we’ve got TTHREE stoplights now), and it raises money for a good cause. Best of all, it’s after Lent.
Probably not 30 but a goodly subset of the same circle as Sam (including her, of course).
