Me, I kept getting distracted with the thought of how cool it would be to substitute other famous Senators for Senator Amidala. Say, Bob Dole, or Carl Levin. Particularly during the “frolicking on the grass” scene…
Holy God!!! With Dole it would have been a perfect Viagra commercial!
When I saw it on video, I kept thinking of that “Joe Lieberman is Senator Palpatine” link that was going around the net, and laughing about it.
So, what did you think of the movie? Like it? Hate it? Wish George Lucas would develop a severe case of diarhea(sp?)?

On the whole, CG effects leave me cold. They don’t look real at all. I think that the first two (I haven’t seen the thrid) were more believeable.
The acting was pretty bad, especially by the punk-ass darth vader kid. How does one spelled "wooden: in klingon?*
I especially liked how his mom conveniently died…within minutes of him getting there.
*yeah, yeah, let the wrath upon the Baboon begin. Klingon, Star Wars… same thing.
Not gonna happen. Nobody can really develop much heat about Star Wars or Star Trek these days considering how much the franchises have slipped…
My favorite part, Amidala in the black leather get up…because whenever I’m trying to convince a guy not to like me, I always wear something really sexy in black leather, I’ve discovered its a major turnoff for guys and they usually immediately become interested in something else.
