So I missed out on Kraftwerk tonight

I’m so pissed…I mean, Kraftwerk!! They had a show in Toronto tonight but I had an exam today, and another on Sunday, so there was just no way I could pull it off.

Its so sad…the new wave bands are steadily dropping from the tour circuit. And Kraftwerk NEVER tours. I doubt I’ll ever seem them now :frowning: :frowning:

That blows, dude! I missed the Sex Pistols (visited Toronto and missed them by a couple days), but I don’t think that was too much of a loss.

You can make up for it by seeing Skinny Puppy, I suppose.

Speaking of which, I gotta get tickets…

Don’t forget Tour de France, TransEurope Express, and Musique - Non Stop
We are the robots, I’ll tell you whut!

I’m guessing there’s no mosh pit at a Kraftwerk concert.

There might be a MOS pit.

I’m missing Stereolab tonight because I’m completely exhausted. :frowning:

I get to see Kraftwerk & Stereolab (among many others) next week :p.

David Bowie’s coming here May 15th, but I doubt there are any “cheap” tickets left.

But as much as I like Bowie, its still not the same as Kraftwerk :frowning:

The Big K is going to be in Seattle tomorrow night. I’d love to make it but can’t.

:frowning:

I saw Kraftwerk do a set at Tribal Gathering '97 (or '98 - I forget) and I can tell you that the place was absolutely having it. The big top tent that they were playing had a capacity of about 3,000 and about 10,000 people were trying to get in, the place was absolutely kicking. I didn’t even like them before hand but that blew my mind, however, my brother (who is a bigger fan than me) saw them at Brixton Academy a couple of weeks back and said they did a much more traditional set but were still amazing - ‘one for the beard strokers’, he said.

Fucking hell, they’re sold out. Oh well, you might still be able to make it…
