So just what DO you watch?

Sunday: Law and Order: Criminal Intent (yay Bibliocat!), Grey’s Anatomy

Monday: 24

Tuesday: House, SVU, Scrubs

Wednesday: Lost, Smallville

Thursday: CSI

Friday: Joan of Arcadia

Saturday: Battlestar Galactica. Not enjoying it all that much, but still watching.
Sunday: Scrapheap Challenge. Would strongly consider skipping a family get-together to see this.

Beyond that, I don’t watch a lot of TV at all.

Now I think I’ve forgotten a bunch after reading everyone’s answers. I’ll just add this list of shows that if I remember they’re on and if I’m around I’ll watch them:

Nip/Tuck, Ebert and Roeper, Beat the Schwab, Arrested Development, Futurama, TNG reruns, Airline, Bay Area Backroads

Fox’s Sunday Night line-up when not pre-empted (Malcolm in the Middle, Arrested Development, Simpsons (maybe) and King of the Hill (maybe).

Mon., Tue., Wed. Thur: Daily Show

Currently I watch Survivor but I don’t usually.

Otherwise my TV watching is channel surfing. I pay for extended cable solely for Jon Stewart; I wish he’d move to network so I could cancel, but if he did they’d probably ruin the show.

Sunday: Deadwood, Sopranos (if it’s ever freakin’ on!)
Monday: CSI Miami
Tuesday: American Idol, Scrubs, The Office (those last two are new for me), Chappelle’s Show
Wednesday: Lost, AI results show, CSI New York (though it’s my least favorite of the three)
Thursday: The O.C. (Og help me, I know), CSI, ER
Friday: Nothing
Saturday: Nothing
Daily, during the week: The Daily Show

Sunday: Simpsons, Arrested Development, Desparate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy

Monday: nuthin’, I guess

Tuesday: Scrubs, liked The Office enough to watch six eps, although I’ll re-evaluate if it’s picked up for a full season

Wednesday: LOST, Alias, EYES. Wednesdays are great.

Thursday: Will & Grace

Friday: Enterprise, Battlestar Galactica

Deadwood whenever I want

Plus anything interesting my TiVo has picked up or any old Buffy, Star Trek, Futurama, or misc. I get a hankering for from my DVD/VHS collection.

Sunday
Nothing regularly, 60 minutes a lot.

Monday
Still Standing, 24

Tuesday
NCIS, Deadliest Catch which is just the best show on TV right now!

Wednesday
Lost (unfortunately), King of Queens

Thursday
Survivor

Friday
Monster House, Joan of Arcadia, Numb3rs, Stargate SG-1

Saturday
Total wasteland.

Almost every night: Whose Line is it Anyway? reruns on the Family channel. Hey, it makes me laugh, ok?

I watch Law & Order, all of them. Criminal Intent and SVU are my favorites.
I’ll catch CSI once in a while (original only).
I watch Adult Swim Mon-Wed, and sometimes I’ll try to catch Robot Chicken but I usually forget.
Good Eats is great, and X-Files reruns in the middle of the night are always good.

The only programmes I religously watch are Smallville & The OC*.

I think I need to grow up.

I also watch Buffy, Angel, Family Guy, Simpsons, CSI, CSI Miami, Law and Order, Scrubs, Cold Case and Without a Trace if I find them while flicking through the stations.

*I love that show… Ie arranged my study around it so I have lucnh everyday at 2 so I can go home and catch series 1 in reruns. Pathetic.

Sunday: Cold Case
Monday: Nanny 911, Everybody Loves Raymond
Tuesday: NCIS, Amazing Race
Wednesday: King of Queens
Thursday: The Apprentice
Friday: Nothing
Saturday: Nothing

I watch too much TV…

What I will go out of my way to watch:

Monday: 24 (started watching it on DVD)
Tuesday: Amazing Race
Wedneday: Lost

I’ll watch Survivor if I’m home, but I’m meh-ish on it. Beyond that, any broadcast t.v. I watch is by chance, and is usually HGTV.

I’ve become a big fan of DVDs and prefer to watch them, including TV series on DVD.

An absurd amount of Stargate, SG-1 (any time I can find it) :o

Simpsons
Family Guy
WonderShowzen
Venture Brothers
I enjoy these next two if they are on, but don’t go out of my way to find them
South Park
Daily Show.

Otherwise - meh.

Wow, I knew that I’d stopped watching so much TV, but I hadn’t realized how much. There’s hardly anything that I make a point to watch anymore, and even when I do, I catch it on the TiVo, if and when I get around to it.

The ones I make a point to watch, when they’re new:
Venture Brothers
The Daily Show
Justice League Unlimited

I would watch if I hadn’t gotten so behind, so now I’m avoiding and just waiting for the DVDs:
Lost

I record, and will watch if Miller’s not around, because he won’t let me otherwise:
Saturday Night Live
Best Week Ever

These days …

Sunday: Intervention, Simpsons (sometimes)
Monday: 24
Tuesday: Amazing Race, Scrubs (when possible)
Wednesday: Lost
Thursday: Survivor, Apprentice
Friday: none.
Saturday: none.

Sunday: Enterprise, Family Guy, maybe American Dad(depends a lot on if I decide it’s worth it in the next 2 weeks).

Wensday: South Park(if it’s a new one, 50/50 if it’s an rerun).

Thursday: Monty Python. Used to watch Trailor Park Boys, Black Books and Blackadder before BBC America decided to be stupid and take them off.

Friday: Battlestar Galactica, Stargate Atlantis.

Any day of the week: Daily Show (if it’s new). Movies of oppurtunity.

I watch the Fox Sunday night lineup (KotH, MitM, Simpsons, AD, and now Family Guy and the other AD but I probably won’t watch that for long), House, Conan O’Brien (when I can stay up… I have to get up at six for work so that doesn’t always happen), and repeats of the Outer Limits (new series) that play once a week on the NBC affiliate at 12:30 AM. That’s it. Occasionally I will watch Simpsons repeats in the evening but only if I remember and I usually don’t. Before I moved to a house without cable I also watched Cartoon Network Sunday nights, South Park, the Daily Show, and Monk. Out of those, I miss the Daily Show the most. I also used to watch SNL weekly but it got so bad that I just quit watching it.

Thanks to the awesome library system here, I’ve been getting into a lot of series I never got to watch before, since they were on Showtime or HBO and I could never afford those channels. My new favorite show has to be Six Feet Under. But then, I don’t watch that at a certain time.

That’s my favourite show as well. Final season starts June 6th.

Monday: Until now, nothing was crucial. CSI: Miami doesn’t have compelling enough characters for me to care. SFU will be my Monday night thing shortly.

Tuesday: Amazing Race; Law & Order SVU; Scrubs; The Office

Wednesday: Law & Order; CSI: NY; That 70s Show

Thursday: CSI; Joey; ER; The Apprentice

Friday: Third Watch; Law & Order Trial By Jury

Saturday: Nothing consistently. Cable stuff: Discovery channel, TLC, HGTV, Disc. Health.

Sunday: Desperate Housewives; Grey’s Anatomy; King of the Hill; Malcolm in the Middle; Simpsons; AD; Family Guy; Law & Order Criminal Intent

Weekdays: Daily Show

I watch more television than anyone I know. I record almost everything so hubby can watch when he’s done work (and there’s nothing on). Also, it’s nice to watch shows when it’s convenient for me and I can fast forward through the commercials.

**Sunday: ** Simpsons, King of the Hill, occasionally catch Grey’s Anatomy purely for the hotness of Katherine Heigl. The Sopranos when it’s on. Football when in season. Enterprise re-run at 10.
Monday: Stargate SG-1 reruns on Sci-Fi channel
Tuesday: Scrubs, House, M.D.
**Wednesday: ** South Park
Thursday: Nothing I can remember
Friday: Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica
Saturday: Nothing, except football in season.

All of the above are prefaced by the note that I watch if I remember, and if I’m not doing stuff with my girlfriend.

The shows I tape to make sure I see are: SG-1, Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica and House.

Sunday-the NFL in season
Deadwood
the Dead Zone (actually I usually watch one thing Sunday, since those three things don’t have overlapping seasons)
Monday-24
MNF in season
Tuesday-NCIS
The Shield
Wednesday-Lost
CSI: New York
Thursday-Survivor
CSI
Friday-Joan of Arcadia (hope I get the chance next season too)
Stargate: SG1
Stargate: Atlantis
Saturday-nothing unless it’s college football season

I could not agree with you more. It’s just about the most compelling television I’ve ever seen.

Before I saw it I didn’t expect to find a dramaticized quasi-documentary about crab fishing off Alaska interesting, but by halfway through the first episode I was completely hooked.

The best part for me is that kid Brandon. 19 years old, never fished for anything before in his life, and just running on a great attitude and a lot of guts. He had to deal with good natured newbie hazing (“New guy has to bite the head off a herring for good luck.”) on top of the sleep deprivation and hard physical labor, and he always tackled everything with enthusiasm and toughness with a smile on his face. I found myself rooting hard for the kid, hoping that he’d have a good season and not get hurt.

It was especially gratifying watching last night’s episode and finding that the crew of the Northwestern apparently thought as highly of him as I did.
