OK, look, I don’t know about everyone else but I come to the workplace rants to hear unique stories that have some component that we can relate to. Here is a good example that includes who, what, and why:
See how she didn’t just say “Boss is an idiot” ???
Your rants tend to be some generic thing that happens to everyone every day. The only response I would make is “yep. Me too. Happens to everyone.” You don’t invite engagement or interest because you don’t really tell the story behind them that makes them unique or funny or make me appreciate my own shitty workplace.
