Having just recently moved to Atlantic Canada, I have only witnessed the fog rolling in from the harbour a couple of times. This morning it smelled kind of … lemony. Is this normal, or did a lysol tanker run aground?
We get a lot of fog around here. No, I’ve never experienced scented fog. As far a I know it has no smell.
I played street hockey all day on the Halifax waterfront and the fog smelt pretty normal to me… sort of oceany and fresh. I don’t think I’ve ever noticed it as being lemony… just more or less intense depending on its thickness.
