So what should be the Democrats' version of "Make America Great Again?"

Beating trump in the next election is the first step then fixing all the damages trump has done if it not too late !

There was a thread a bit back, pretty sure it was the “house repeals thread”, but I am not finding the post I am looking for.

Anyway, Bricker came up with a perfect slogan for the democrats in 2018 and on, as regards to changes in healthcare.

“We’ll [the democrats] put you in the hospital, they’ll [the republicans]put you in the morgue.”

Yeah, but that was what hillary did. She made speeches that were not sound btiy, so her opposition took her words out of context and made those sound bites.

It would be better if the american voters had enough attention span that they did not need to be lead around by soundbites, but that is not something that the parties can fix.

‘Nine Squares A Day !’

That’ll win the hobbit vote.

Even odder as one associates the self-preening ‘She Persisted’ with Senator Warren, who had rather a hands-off approach to Hillary.
I do think the DNC admiration for Hillary is such that they may run her next time, crashing futilely into the Russian cannon, just to teach those rotten old patriarchs a lesson.
C’est Magnifique, Mais Ce N’est Pas La Guerre.’

Applauds

“Not Beholden to Moscow”

“Biden Our Time”

(for Al Franken) “I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and doggone it, people like me!”

Stronger Together

Together for America

Building for America

Build the American Future

Advance America

Come to your senses, America!

America for all.
(mic drop)

I’d say it’s a step in the right direction, the sooner the Democrats forget about her and stop trying to reference back to her awful failure of a 2016 campaign the better the party will do. The fact that someone was seriously proposing ''She persisted, we resisted" as a slogan for 2018 elections is pretty frightening if you don’t want to see a republican supermajority in congress.

America!

This time we will look out the window when we fly over!

I like Advance America, but it might be a little bit too vague. Fits nicely on bumper stickers, though.

Who are the Democrats who are doing this? I haven’t seen it at all. None of the proposals have a thing to do with Hillary and from what I’ve seen, they’re trying to run away from 2016 as fast as possible.

“She persisted” has nothing to do with Hillary - that’s Elizabeth Warren. Unless, you’re implying that all NE female Senators are the same perosn.

Too Proud To Fight !

Is there some “She Persisted” meme associated with Warren? Because the average person is going to immediately think of Hillary… especially when Chelsea recently released a book with that same phrase as a title.

Honestly, I think there is a not insignificant portion of democrats that adores Hillary Clinton & would gladly vote for her again in the primaries. I’ve met these people- they have Hillary Clinton tattoos & name their pets after her. They’d tell you Hillary is a saintly victim of a vast right-wing conspiracy instead of one of the most powerful people on the planet. Not to mention, the big-money obviously donors favor her. The only thing that’s shielding us from another failed HRC campaign in 2020 is that she clearly despises campaigning. I guess that’s why the spawn is already being groomed for political office; the torch has been passed.

Er… Wikipedia — Nevertheless, she persisted is solely due to and tribute to, Elizabeth Warren.

It really was a trifling incident blown up to cheer the shattered Democrats as if it were Cambronne’s "Merde or the unbearable Dolores’ *** ¡No pasarán!***; but if some wretched Clinton glommed on to it there is no surprise there.

Wow, I guess unfollowing a lot of liberal political sites in order to escape my echo chamber after November really worked. I completely missed this Warren meme.

Something like “Make Your Future”: something that offers an alternative to the present status quo (besides the reactionary and empty nostalgia of Trump) and emphasizes that such a future is only possible if the left actually works together to bring it about.
