I’ll be waiting by the tiny “Mannequin Pis” statue/fountain in Brussels. Why go to the Eiffel Tower which has lots and lots of people milling about over a fairly large area, when you can easily designate an exact spot?!
Lemme guess, Cisco, will you be armed with a 1920s style death ray?
I swear, if that becomes a catchphrase, I’m gonna cry.
The what now? Never heard of it.
(I thought Tour d’Eiffel aussi)
I, too, chose the Eiffel Tower.
Runs away looking for tin foil hat.
I chose the ROM, but I suppose I could head down to the CN tower if that’s where people are gonna gather in Toronto!
And I literally did laugh out loud at the thought of meeting up at Club Supersex! Ahhh, Montreal!
I thought it was Big Ben also.
OK, I’m going to be all alone, and freezing my ass off besides, up at the North Pole.
The Arc d’Triumph was my second choice. The first place I thought of was Stonehenge, but wasn’t sure if it would be disqualified as “religious”…
Strangely, I chose the Tower of London.
I chose the Canadian side of Niagra Falls. I actually expected to see that as the answer.
I’ve read many copies of Games over the years, and even subscribed for a time, but I don’t remember seeing this puzzle. I thought of the site the magazine suggested.
Wonder what the most common answer would have been before 1889.
I’m thinkning I’m going to have to see if I Can get a back copy… I remember it was one of the puzzles towards the backs of the magazine - on one of the color pages…
(Thinking) OK my trip to North Carolina was in 1998; I am trying desperately to remember when exactly… I wanna say it was April, but can’t be sure…
Well, I was thinking Gilwell Field… but I remember seeing the puzzle in Games magazine also.
A HA! Proof that I’m not crazy.
I chose “The Bible Belt”
