Hey, chula, come upstate for a bit and you’ll see all the snow you could possibly hope for. Take some back with you. Take it all back with you.
Please.

If there were a way to do it I’d take the snow off the hands of you folks back east that don’t want it. Most of the ski areas around here aren’t even open because there’s NO FRIGGIN’ SNOW!!! Most of the ski areas that are open are operating with only one or two lifts running. I imagine the snow is still spotty in these areas.
And dammit, it’s just not quite Christmas if there’s no snow. I say bring it on!
Yeah, upstate NY is the place for snow. All the snow you like, and then twice as much.
Upstate NY is so gorgeous anyway!
Tuckerfan, are you saying the snow is a no-show? Maybe it’s just slow, you know.
My favorite song is the Snowbird Theme from Channel Four.
Zoe, there’s no snow. There’s never any snow, and anyone who likes Snowbird is the anti-Christ in my book!
Close to fifty inches here. Want me to send a box?
Looking out of the window: seeing hot sun, arid desert, flawless blue sky…
…no, no snow here either.
Anyone got any spare?
Well, it’s snowing now.
How do I make it stop?
In Scandanavian lands, they pronounce skiing as shee- ing.
I think they’re full of skit. - Crow T. Robot
Still no snow here in mid-TN. Oh sure, the trees were covered in ice this morning, and traffic lights were out, and I had to warm up my car 15 minutes early…but nothing that would keep me home from work dammit! Bill Hall, burn in heck!
and you can have it!!!
Its 21 degrees today!
Someone take me to Florida!
We got about 5 inches dumped on us last night here in Southeast Kansas. Feel free to take as much snow as you want out of my yard. I can’t even see my car.
Actually, I think it’s more likely to snow on Mauna Kea
If you look closely, you’ll see two people sledding.
And, I get to go back this February!
Well they haven’t predicted snow for us, only ice, freezing rain, and sleet. The grocery stores are probably having a field day. What is it about snow in the south that drives people to the grocery store like they will never be able to buy food again.
Woohoooo!!! Snow day! You’re gonna hate me, ultress, but we’re getting the white stuff up here in the mountains. My boss sent me home early! Woooo!
Well it’s snowing here now also. Pretty, big, fluffy flakes. No going home for me. You wouldn’t have any electricity if they sent us home.
If only NoClueBoy had taken you up on the offer! That bit of snow we got balled up traffic like crazy this morning.
Please, let’s only have snow in places where people have a clue how to drive in the stuff!
Here in southern Maryland, I think we’re starting to get sleet.
Oh yeah - here’s a radar map from Weather Underground.
The weather idjits here can’t even agree on when it’s supposed to start or how much we’re going to get.
Some say 8:00 (hasn’t started yet), some say 10:00, some say after midnight.
As for how much, I’ve heard everything from 1-2 inches, to as much as 8-10 inches.
Sheesh, with all that fancy weather equipment, you think they’d at least agree on their predictions, even if they turn out to be wrong.
10 inches of sleet?!? That’s gonna destroy every tree and take down every power line in your area! man, I’m counting my blessings.
We had an ice storm out here last January that got me a whole lot of work, rebuilding house parts. The weirdest thing was hearing the explosions, yes explosions, of ice covered trees.
Wednesday night TV sucks. Just noticed.
