Well, it IS, but have you seen this:

Proof positive that LSD is still readily available.

wow that is quite the ugly vehicle.
The Aztec looks like a woodchuck. This thing looks like a sabre-toothed crotch cricket…
Crotch cricket?
I’d like to take the body of one o’ those and put it on a Jeep CJ chassis/running gear…
But here’s the ultimate in ugly vehicles. I need one! (working pics are toward the bottom)
Addition to my previos post:
With the M715, you could carry a Vehicross in the back as an escape pod!
The first thing that came to mind was “Mad Max”. Yes, it is ugly. Where can I see the Aztec? Is it similar?
You’ve been warned.
Dear lord. Compared to THAT, the Isuzu looks like a Jag E-Type. What crack junkie designed THAT one??
GOOD LAWD! What the ffffff—
Oh, c’mon, the Isuzu has the stupidest name ever, but it isn’t nearly as usgle as the Aztek.
BTW, if you click on “exterior,” you can do this cool 360 degree thing where you drag the car around.
Woah…is it just me, or did they graft a Honda Insight onto the back of tha thing?
While I don’t think it looks that great, it is good to see weird and “concept-ey” car designs come to be actual production models.
Here is the best picture of the Aztek I could find.
I dunno, I kinda like the look of it. I mean, it’d look REAL cool in my targeting sights when I dive-bomb one in my T-47
I’ve got a strong suspicion that the designers at the car companies are just sitting around laughing their asses off, say to each other, “Oh, man, that’s hideous! Let’s see if the lemmings’ll buy that!”
You are witnessing the rebirth of AMC.
The Aztec concept has been around for about a decade… one wonders why they decided to build it (and make it look like that) only after this long…
The Buick sport ute isn’t all that easy on the eyes either… take a look. a short look.
Josh
I think you are quite right, JBirdman.
I have a long-held belief that the fashion designers do the same thing.
Nah. AMCs are ugly, but still far more “utility” than any SUV on the market today.

It is interesting that you should mention the Buick, other than the body cladding it is exactly the same GM mini-van platform underneath. Check out this massive mistake Pontiac may build, it’s labeled as the GM-Toyota Piranha, but you can clearly see the Pontiac badge on the nose.
