The silence was just flat out weird. When I saw Titus Fotso, with the African Dance Ensemble, I couldn’t help but think that if his routine had been an audition from the early part of the season and he an unknown, he would have been sent packing. He looked like a caveman who had just found some fire.
Due to the lovely weather scrawl across my TV, I missed the name of the song they did their opening dance to - anyone remember what it was?

Kinda surprised that Danny had the most votes of the men this time around. Did he siphon off the people-of-color demo now that Dom is gone? Again, Neil’s and Danny’s solos were virtually interchangeable, and Lacey can’t do more than shake her booty (which might be why she got the most votes among the ladies; or is it residual Benjy love?).
I really, really want Sabra to win.
My sentiments exactly. I was thinking…THIS is what Debbie Allen was so excited about? He was the least inspiring dancer in the building.
Making the big announcement to an empty room was just…weird. Thank you, Fox, for bringing us an utterly meaningless exhibition football game instead of the normal results show. :rolleyes:
And as soon the show started, showing the dancers under a net, we were thinking “Oh boy! Time for the annual Wade Robson weirdness!” (Loved last year’s zombie dance)
Reportedly, they filmed that sequence for each contestant, declaring each one safe, in front of the audience, before chucking the audience out and doing the real bottom 4. I expect that once the audience was gone, they told Danny and Lacey that they were the real safe pair.
I can’t believe the Hunchback of Wobbly Spins beat the awesomeness that is Pasha. Neil should have been out weeks ago instead of Jesus and now he has a chance of winning it all? Ugh!
I’m just as confused as you are. You’d think they’d be worried about the audience members posting the first two picks all over the Internet.
If that’s the case, I hope the dancers were in on it. I’d hate to think I was safe and then be told, “Nope, just kidding! You’re gone.”
Do we know for sure that Danny and Lacey had the most votes? Cat said that they were in the top four, but they could have been the second-place male and female dancers. I had the same thought about last year’s finale. Benji and Travis were the last two on stage, but it’s possible that Heidi or Donyelle could have gotten more votes than Travis. We were just told that they didn’t come in first.
