I used to see Chick tracks all the time when I was growing up in Cleveland. Especially when I was in high school and took the bus. People would leave them on bus stop benches, and bus seats, and other places they knew people would see them. I was raised Catholic, and thought that they were just some loony cartoons. We used to make fun of them while waiting for the bus.
The last time I saw Chick tracts “in the wild” so to speak was because they “conveniently” were included with a particular Korean edition of the Bible I needed to get when I was living in Korea. While living there, I never saw them on the street or in their traditional environments.
By “conservative” do you mean religiously conservative (i.e. traditionalist) or politically conservative (i.e. [Sodomite](Ezekiel - Ezekiel’s Inaugural Vision - In my - Bible Gateway 16:49&version=KJ21))?
I thought all the Playboy Clubs had shut down.

Has anyone claimed that in this thread?
You know, based on this:
I think I’ll pass. Since I never made such a claim, y’know?
I’ll freely state that I sometimes construct my posts using the vocabulary of equivocation. I don’t see that it is inappropriate for me to sometimes make that choice. Your characterization of that as “hemming and hawing” suggests that you do.
But I’m not particularly interested in knowing your reasoning, so feel free to not share it with me. Cheers! ![]()
