As I was recently pretty much forced to relocate to an area with lower property values, I have a pretty big chunk of cash for shopping this year. For myself, this came yesterday, complete with the samsung HD DirecTV receiver. It was absolutely stunning watching the Colts/Pats game in true HDTV today, so much so that I’m doubting that I’m watching the fox games most weeks.
And the LadyVor gets a new kitchen, so I’m coming out way on the short end of the deal.

I’m going into Gucci on Thursday to see if the bag I want is in. If it is I’ll probably make that my Christmas present, although my boyfriend is begging me not to since he has no idea what to get me and that was his only hope.
I’d love to buy myself a puppy but it’s just not practical. Maybe some DVDs and clothes as well.
Courtesy of my maiden aunt who died this summer and left me a modest sum (most of which is tucked away in a CD) I got myself a KitchenAid stand mixer and a new winter coat and boots last week. Next on the list is a snow thrower.

I ended up buying myself a DVD copy of Plunkett & Macleane just because the opportunity presented itself - it’s been so hard to find Region 1 versions for under $40!
I’m paying Mom back for the laptop that she helped me replace. So I guess I’m giving myself half a laptop.
Love… that’s what I’m trying to give myself for Christmas and beyond. No, not self-love in the “flying solo” sense, you perv! One must love oneself before one can love another (that sounded like bad, bad grammer, ugh). I’m trying to give myself happiness but I might get a nice silver ring set with a deep, red garnet or a smooth amber stone. Not too expensive and I like silver. Diamonds and gold are for princesses! BLECH!

I’m going to London on Christmas Eve to spend 10 days with my fiance and I can’t wait! If we never got any more presents than that (though we will), that’d be more than enough for me. I won’t have seen him for 5 weeks this time round - we am counting the milliseconds!!
I can’t think of a better present to myself or him other than spending time together (our first Christmas together in fact )
