That’s the lineup for this year’s Farm Aid. GF’s good friend knows someone who knows someone, and is playing at Farm Aid this year. She invited GF’s son to play in her band for one song.

Come to find out, my GF is connected to important people all over the place. Her long time friend opened for… someone famous. Dixie Chicks? Mariah Carey? Tull? Someone like that. Their mutual friend, I think from high school, started Farm Aid. Her ex-husband’s father invented the computer. Weird.
So either a pop-country group, a pop diva or an aging flutist.
Something like that
