Somebody please spoil these S6 "Buffy" episodes for me...

“Life Serial”
“Tabula Rasa”
“Smashed”
“As You Were”

In as much detail as possible. I missed “Life Serial” in the summer reruns, the other three weren’t shown (I started watching BtVS very near the end of the season- the first episode I watched was “Seeing Red”.)

And while we’re at it, when did Buffy start hating Spike again? Seemed to me that the first few episodes of S6, they had the beginnings of a warm friendship going- Spike was the only one she told about being ripped out of Heaven (or some Heavenish dimension) and being unhappy about it. And up until “Once More With Feeling”, seemed the Peroxided One was a major comforting presence for the Buffster. I know that “Smashed” was the episode in which they shagged for the first time, so, what, having sex ruined the friendship?

It’s been a long time since i’ve seen Life Serial, so I can’t help you there.
Tabula Rasa–The episode starts with Buffy in the cemetary. Spike shows up and wants to talk. Buffy says there is nothing ot talk about. Spike says there is, “We kissed Buffy. All Gone with the Wind like with the rising music and the…rising music, and what was that Buffy?” She tells him that there will be no more kissing or touching of any kind. Then she tackles him to the ground. They look up and see Sharkey and a group of vampires. Apparently, Spike owes some kittens to the loan shark. “Kittens? Why can’t you just play with money like normal people?” “Eh, she’s funny. I like that in a girl.” While Sharkey is talking, Spike splits, so the group leaves. Buffy looks at the sky and says “If I just stop saving him, it would simple things up so much.”
Opening credits.
Xander, Willow, Tara, and Anya discussing Buffy and wondering how they can make it up to her for pulling her out of heaven. Xander thinks more quality time will help and suggests Movie Night. Willow thinks that it’s far too little too late, and suggests that she can perform a magic spell to make Buffy forget about heaven. Tara puts her foot down, insists that Willow is using too much magic, and that spells aren’t the answer to everything. She then basically says that she will leave Willow if Willow doesn’t stop. I think Willow needs to go magic-free for one week. Willow promises she can do it. Then we see Giles and Buffy. Giles is explaining to Buffy that he is leaving Sunnydale and why. Buffy is NOT happy with the situation and tries to talk him out of it, but Giles holds firm.
The next day they are all rushing out the door to the Magic Box because Giles wants to talk to all of them. Willow is running behind and promises she can catch up…Tara and Dawn to the shop without her. After they leave, she uses magic to get dressed, and then performs a Tabula Rasa spell. Only instead of burning one flower, the entire bag catches on fire after Willow leaves.

Willow and Xander show up to find everybody waiting for them. Dawn asks if there are any oogly booglies in town, and GIles assures them there aren’t. He hesitates and Buffy says “Cut to the chase, just tell that that you’re…” then the door slams open and Spike rushes in, all smokey, in a silly tweed suit and hat. Giles says “Spike?” Spike announces that he needs asylum, and that his suit is a disguise, he’s hiding from the loan shark. While Spike is explaining Sharkey, the crystal glows green, and the flowers catch on fire back at the Summers’ house. (sidenote, crazy Spike (asylum) in a disguise. Where have I heard tht one before?)
Giles announces that he is heading back to England, and everybody reacts with shock and dismay. Except Anya, who justs wants to make sure that it’s “for reals this time, because honest to Pete, a young shopkeeper’s heart can only keep somuch.” Buffy announces that she can’t take this and gets up to leave. Willow stops her and apologizes. Buffy says that she knows they are just trying to help, but she can’t take it anymore. She says it’s like she’s dying…and then they all collapse and fall asleep where they’re sitting. Willow and Xander fall on the floor with each other. Spike is sitting on the counter and lays across it. Dawn is by herself. Giles and Anya are leaning against each other by the table, and Tara is by herself.

They come to slowly. First Willow and Xander, who react with fear and surprise. Then Anya and Giles. Then Tara. They are all very confused and rather frightened. Spike then falls off of the counter with a shout, which in turn wakes up Dawn. She speaks first, “Who are you people?” Buffy tells her not to worry. Dawn is acting very much the scared little girl.
Xander jumps up and demands, “Who are you freaks?” Willow says, “You don’t know me?” They basically work out that they don’t know each other, and they don’t know who they are themselves.
Giles suggets that they all got terribly drunk. Anya points out that there is no booze, headbumps, or Allan Font. And Dawn doesn’t think she drinks. Xander is still panicked and rather paranoid. Buffy tells him to take it easy “none of us are hurt, right? And none of us looks all hatchety-murdery, so we’re probably safe here, wherever here is.”

Duh, and I just remembered that Really, really good summaries for all of those episodes can be found at www.buffyworld.com. and scripts too.

“Randy Giles? Why not just name me ‘Horny Giles’ or ‘Ready-for-a-shag Giles’ ?”

There are also very good episode summaries and commentary on the Sunnydale Slayers site, on this page. It even has an Angel Annex, although the episode guide there needs some updating.
