I usually don’t do this, but the loneliness is driving me crazy, I think. My life has been very stressful of late (see this post) and my IRL friends have suddenly all gotten busy at the same time. I really think it’s a coincidence and not because I am suddenly too much of a burden - I’m a little depressed, but still a good friend I hope! I believe there is at least still some entertainment value to conversing with me!!
Nevertheless, I’m hoping some kindly Dopers out there will write and help me to not feel so alone. My wonderful 13 year old daughter has her own blossoming life and I certainly can’t lean on her in any case, but lately she’s been the only person I’ve seen and talked to with any regularity.
