Someone you look at and start laughing

This can be professional Comedians, or just Actors you recognize from TV, commercials, Movies or whatever, for whom you start cracking up the minute you see them.

My candidate: Stephen Merchant. I hadn’t seen the British version of The Office before I’d ever laid eyes on him. I first saw him in **Extras[/]b. Now I can’t keep from laughing the minute I see him.

Your suggestions?

John Clarke (NZ comedian long resident in Australia)
Ardal O’Hanlon (Father Dougal from Father Ted)

Rodney Dangerfield

John Cleese.

Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin.

Also, John Candy. I love his face.

Probably Chris Farley, too.

Fuck it, I guess I find fat people funny.

Patton Oswalt and Ricky Gervaise, the two most hilarious stand-up comedians evar. Don’t believe me? Have a go at (http:// youtube.com /watch?v=YRyOHvTH0RE) Ricky’s Favorite Leaflet or (http:// youtube.com /watch?v=_-oxsMl3iCA) Patton on Stella Dora Breakfast Treats (while neither are pornographic, neither are exactly safe for work, ergo the “better safe than sorry” broken links). There’s also a video of Patton Oswalt on Conan O’Brien talking about an old lady giving birth which nearly made me wet myself, but I can’t find it at the moment.

Bill Cosby

Will Ferrell. Every time I see him, I think of some ridiculous movie line.

jumps into a pit of bears
‘‘Ohhhh. I immediately regret this decision!’’

Don Knotts just cracks me up, he doesn’t have to say a word. Three’s Company is one of the only shows that can make me laugh on mute between his and John Ritters body language.

Peter Sellers, movie after movie.

Brian Regan, standup comedian. Just a goofy looking bastard whom I love.

Brian Posehn has a great face for comedy.

Lyle Lovett? No, he’s not funny, but he *is * funny-looking. He looks like he was put together from spare parts.

I was just listening to a comedian’s routine about how a co-worker of his came into work laughing her ass off because she had just seen Fabio in the street. The comedian told his co-worker that that wasn’t funny. Then, some time later, Fabio walked into the store-- and he started laughing.

Of course, his routine is much better than the discription I just gave. But I think that if Fabio walked into this accounting office with his flowy hair and romance cover muscles, I’d laugh too.

Eddie Deezen

Phil Hartman when he was in his Sinatra make-up. You just knew gold would be coming.

And Rachel Dratch, whenever she played that creepy kid who was the result of incestuous sex between Angelina Jolie and her brother.

in a similar vein John Lithgow. Seeing the two of them together on 3rd Rock was a laugh riot.

Ricky Gervaise, Brian Regan, Rowan Atkinson.

How about good old Michael Brandow? Not a comedian or actor, but a celebrity nonetheless.
