Problem is, Clothahump, you’re not always right, despite your assertion to the contrary. But you won’t even entertain the notion that that’s not the case. That’s why people bring up cognitive dissonance or Dunning-Kruger. Why will you not even conceive that you may be wrong from time to time? There’s nothing wrong with admitting an error.
Yeah, like that time you claimed that the stock market was stagnant under Obama and then surged under Trump - oh wait, that turned out to be the opposite of reality.
Or that time you said jobs were up under Trump and they turned out to be down.
Or that time you said California didn’t have many conservatives in it and it was pointed out they had nearly as many Trump voters as Texas.
Or that time you said you were “right all the time”.
And when I make one, I admit it. I try to support my claims with cites and when I don’t have one, I try to make sure that people know that is my opinion only. Yeah, I’ve missed doing that a couple of times - mea culpa. But when the overwhelming response to a cite is to complain about the source, then I know something is fishy and my cite was probably correct, such as when people complain about FOX being the source, etc.
I know, I cite the Time Cube guy and people complain, so that’s how I know the Time Cube guy is right!
Ya might want to reassess your truth seeking toolbox . . . maybe try adding an actual tool to it, just sayin’.
I seriously hope that all this pathetic self-aggrandizement/childish insulting is making you feel good about yourself, because if you’re attempting to convince anybody else - and I mean anybody else - that you’re not dumber than a small pile of dogshit, you’re failing hard.
They say you should show, not tell. There is nowhere this is more true than with regard to intelligence - the only thing that comes close is regarding honesty.
So far, if your goal was to look like a complete and total moron, you couldn’t do any better than what you’ve been doing.
