I misplaced a notebook, I thought at the Stop and Shop near my “Y”, but I just got a call from the Citizens Bank attached to it. (oddly I do my banking w/Citizens, but never use this branch). Also occured to me: How’d they get my phone # (I only use a cell)
First of all, do you mean a PC or a thing made from paper?
Do they have you cell number on file somewhere? I’m sure any branch could look up records for a customer.
I don’t know how they got your number, but some places collect all lost property in one area. For example, I lost my wallet on the train one day. I get on and off at two rather small stations, but the collection area was a much larger station, that was about mid-way in my journey.
