Something to do to your loved ones when they die

I just heard on the news that you can send your cremated loved ones into space for the same cost as a funeral.

Also they said for $10K you can take your creamated loved one and have them carbonized and their remains will turn into a diamond. This way you can wear them wherever you go.

Has anyone ever heard of the carbonizing treatment before? How would you turn gray sooty ash into a diamond?

I saw it on the Today show or something. Here is a link to the company website.

Obviously this is the company that makes loved ones into diamonds.
Oh look they will even do your pets.

Certainly these both qualify as doing something “to” them as oppossed to “for” them.

But a diamond is forever!!! I’ll be immortal!!!

There was also a company that would take a small amount of the cremated ashes and swirl it into a handblown paperweight–each pattern unique (because you wouldn’t want to get Grandma’s paperweight mixed up with Uncle Fred’s).

What would the value of the creamated person’s diamond be worth? I mean you are paying $10K for them. But I am sure you are paying for sentiment.

Does Uncle Fred’s color look okay to you?

Sure, it’s a carbon copy.
