Yeah, good point. I am slightly put off by that, but not too much. 
Depending on the weather, about 1h30 to 2h from Lennoxville to Montreal. To the sugar shack from Montreal, about 45 mn, but check a map, you may not need to come all the way to Montreal, before being able to turn to go to the sugar shack.
In lieu of actually making it up to Quebec, I made Maple-Glazed salmon for dinner tonight. Very nice, if I do say so myself.
Ugh, I can’t go to the sugaring-off, but I will be there on Saturday night and around for anything anyone might like to do on Sunday.
My regrets, but due to the worsening weather and unexpected family committments, I won’t be able to make it.
So, I’m watching the weather, but assuming it doesn’t get any worse, I’m still planning on being there.
Who all will be attending at this point?
I’m bringing four, including myself.

I just made it to Lennoxville after 3.5 hours (1.5 hours longer than it normally does), and I imagine Montreal will be a good four-ish hours. Sadly, I think I’ll have to pass on today. 
OK, we just came back (litterally) from the sugar shack. So, I guess we will just have to call it off for this year

Maf and me were the only one at the sugar shack and I was the only one at the restaurant last night, so I feel a little bit off.

Looks like it was just bad timing mixed with bad weather. Figures matt would be busy with campaign stuff, Eonwe would be buried in snow, and Helen’s Eidolon only JUST went back to the U.S.
Let’s not give up on having a Summertime Dopefest. If you want me to help you wrangle people to make it happen, I will. And there won’t be any winter driving!

Fuck, I knew I forgot about something this weekend! I’ve had this nagging feeling all week that I was supposed to do something…! i knew I couldn’t go for weekday activities, because of work, and I just forgot that there was anything last night!
Well, FWIW, a couple of friends and I are going to probably hit Crescent Street tonight, see if we can find a corner in a pub and drink it up. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know which pub we’re going to… but I’m wearing a purple top and jeans! (I don’t actually have anything decent looking in green!)
