Song: ''Don't worry 'bout me-eee-eeee. . ."

. . .I’ll be all ri-ight.
I’m steppin’ outa the world.
Gonna boogie toni-ight."

I remember Tony Orlando singing this song on his classic 1970s variety program, but I suspect that this song was a hit for someone else.

Any ideas???

I thought this might be “Don’t Worry”, written and sung by Marty Robbins. But the lyrics you listed are different from his song.

How about this?

Steppin’ Out (Gonna Boogie Tonight)
by Tony Orlando and Dawn

Don’t worry ‘bout me Ma, I’ll be alright
I’m steppin’ out, I’m gonna boogie tonight
Dancing and singing
Love songs 'til the dawn’s early light
Oh, I’m stepping out, I’m gonna boogie tonight
