Does anybody know the name of the song playing on the Chase commerical wherein someone’s hand comes out of a computer to steal someone’s identity? It’s a kind of jazzy/spy instrumental that is probably really well-known, but I don’t know the name of it. And I really want it for a ring tone:D.
Thanks in advance!
Got a link to a youtube video of the commercial?
That’s a great idea I hadn’t thought of, Homie, and I just went and tried, but it’s not there. I also google’d “chase credit card commercial song” and none of the ones that came up are the ones I’m looking for (it’s not “Secret Agent Man”). I think they started airing it in 2008.
Let me know next time you see it and on what show it’s on. If it’s one of the shows I record on my DVR, I’ll watch it and see if I can help ya.
Isn’t it Henry Mancicni’s *Peter Gunn *theme?
Yep, that’s it! (Google works so much better when you have a title and an artist!) Many thanks for your help on my behalf,** Homie **and Dr. Rieux.
I have a ‘Spy Tunes’ playlist on iTunes:
Secret Agent Man, Johnny Rivers
Peter Gunn, Henry Mancini
Get Smart, Billy Strange
James Bond Theme from Dr. No, John Barry
I Spy, Earl Hagen
Pink Panther Theme, Henry Mancini
A Shot In The Dark, Henry Mancini
The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Paul Brooks
Mission: Impossible, Lalo Schifrin
Casino Royale, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass (Not ‘spy-y’, but it is to a spy film. Sort of.)
James Bond Lives Down Our Street, The Toy Dolls
I also put Henry Mancini’s Baby Elephant Walk from Hatari in that playlist. It’s not a spy tune, but it fits with the other Mancini music.
You should add the Theme from Mannix, also by Lala Shafrin.
And “Superspy” by Save Ferris.
A Spy playlist is so perfect for those days when you’re in a spy mood. If ever :-).
