Songs that crack you up.

That’s so wierd… I loved this a song a couple years ago when I heard it on a camp trip (this was in the days before Napster) and I just discovered in on Napster today! wow. (I played it for my brother but he didn’t think it was funny :frowning: )

There’s an obscure song that cracks me up called “Would You” by Touch & Go.

I’ve noticed you around…

Heywood Banks “Toast” - it’s on Napster
Quite a catchy tune.
“Yeah Toast!”

Oh yeah… “I’m The Urban Spaceman” is a long time favorite of mine.

This is a cover of the original by Deathtongue/Billy and the Boingers. I kid you not. About 12 or 15 years ago, there was a Bloom County collection released called “Billy and the Boingers Bootleg”, and bound into it was one of those flimsy little floppy black vinyl “45’s”. One side of it was “'Cause I’m A Boinger”, and the other side was “U Stink, But I (heart) U”. I’ve had both cuts on tape ever since…

That is the most obscure, funny bit of music trivia I’ve heard this week! And here I was grinning to myself arrogantly, thinking how cool I was that I remember the Mucky Pup song :p.

Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It’s Flavor On The Bedpost Overnight?

I Wanna Be Loved By You as recorded by Marilyn Monroe.

And I assure you, you haven’t heard it played right until you hear it with the tuba.

Rock on, Opus. Hey, I still remember when they were called Deathtöngue.
