Songs that go - "Woo Hoo!"

I’m pretty sure there’s a Steve Miller Song with a pretty good, “Woo Hoo!” in it. I’m thinking maybe 'Jungle Love", but it’s probably something else.

Or maybe “Take the Money and Run”. Anyone else remember? The "Whoo hoo"s don’t appear on the lyrics sheets.

Steve Miller rocks. That’s all I have to say.

Oh, I see. My song isn’t good enough for your little clique. Clearly that extra “hoo” in there completely distorts the meaning of the all-too-poignant “woo hoo” lyric before it. Why don’t you just step into the Pit and tell me how bad my song is THERE. I’ll be waiting.

[sub]Just kiddin’. Guess I ought to read OPs more carefully. So, confession time…how many people thought I was actually pissed?[/sub]

Uh, not me. But still worth tee-hee’s and ha-ha’s, if not a woo-hoo.

BTW, what is the song on that car commercial (maybe a BMW commercial???) that begins with a very robust “Woo-HOO!”? It’s not the 5.6.7.8’s song, but another.

But NOT tee-hee-hees or ha-ha-has.

Damn straight.

I’d say that Dire Straits ‘Walk of Life’ goes ‘wu hoo’ as much as it goes ‘woo hoo’, but maybe that’s the Geordie coming through.

I seriously appreciate the suggestions though.
Thanks

It is definitely “Take the Money and Run,” but I’m not 100% sure that they are certified woo-hoos as opposed to hoo-hoos.

Sorry, I hadn’t noticed the subtlety of ‘Whoo Hoo!’ as opposed to ‘Woo Hoo!’

Will consider.

But that’s “ooo wee ooo” not “woo hoo”.

I’ve heard some people call this “The Woo Hoo Song”. Anyone else call it “The Intel Song” as Mr. Purl and myself do?

Thanks Minnie Purl.

Songs that go ‘Woo (or possibly ‘Whoo’) Hoo!’ are all I’m after.

Though I like the 5,6,7,8’s song, it doesn’t fit. You see it needs to be an explosive woo hoo, an ejaculatory exclaimation - like Homer, like XTC, like Blur. The 5,6’s woo’s are in lieu of lyrics; they carry the tune.

Jeez I sound like a berk.

Legolam - just listened to Barenaked Ladies - IT GOES “WOO HOO HOO!”

Keith Urban is in but not a great song imo, but it fits the criteria!

I’ll add The Shins’ “So Says I” to the list (a great song, by the way). Although it could be argued they’re going “WHOOO-OOOOOO!” sans “H.”

If you’re thinking of the BMW.com short film “Star”, then the song is “Song 2”.

I don’t really like the song, but the film is so amusing that I smile when I hear it anyway.

It (the film) features a bitch diva “superstar”, played by an uncredited Madonna (how’s that for typecasting) who is driven to her “Venue” by The Driver (who appears in the entire series.) Only The Driver has a second client with slightly different agenda with a very amusing result.

How about the song from Rasing Arizona?

I think Woo and Hoo are the only words.
