The song is fearless and Fearless Motivation is the name of the group. This song gave me so much courage and comfort during difficult time. I’ve never grown tired of it.
The theme from Rocky and Eye of the Tiger from Rocky III.
YouTube won’t embed this one. The song is Heartbeat written
Enrique Iglesias, and Nichol Scherzinger the vocals together.
Spoiler alert NSFW PG-13+
Motivating songs are often, mmm, cornier than I’m entirely comfortable with. But, for five years my mainstay to play while driving to work was Lindsey Buckingham’s “Turn It On”.
Sample lyric:
You can fight, you can pray, you can reach for the sky
You can heal someone’s soul, you don’t even know why
Turn it on
Miserlou, that fast guitar track used in Pulp Fiction, used to motivate me, but overuse made it useless.
You’re the Best by Joe Esposito from Karate Kid
Push to the Limit by Paul Engleman from Scarface
Gonna Fly Now from Rocky (The Rocky theme)
Real American by Rick Derringer (Hulk Hogan’s theme)
I’m Not Down - The Clash
I Won’t Back Down - Tom Petty
@EinsteinsHund Me too… Slash gets me
a long song. Sure is good though This live!
[Slash ft.Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators - Paradise City | Live in Sydney - YouTube](
This Steve Howe tune:
To really understand the plight of the suffering and strife in the inner cities the governing bodies of our societies should have mandatory study of hip-hop I think Eminen is starting point. The first video out standing. Admittedly strange song for motivation but I turned to rap and hip hop to understand what I didn’t understand about problems in society. Music is a reflection of society and its struggles.
Steven Tyler Emenin
Genesis’ “Turn It On Again” is a good motivational song for running.
These Are Days by 10,000 Maniacs.
And this one from Supertramp. I hadn’t seen the live version before, its really good.
The song I use to get pumped in the classroom the first day of school is Santana’s Toussaint L’Overture:
For motivation to get through the first 15 minutes of a cardio workout I go to ACDC highway to Hell, live versions of Thunderstruck and You shook me all night long but always kick off with Black Flag Louie Louie live version from Who’s got the 10 1/2
You cant beat the intro guitar riff for a good get up and go song.
The live version of Bad by U2 off the Wide Awake in America EP also works for motivation for a long row.
