I can think of quite a few songs that warrant the maxi-blast treatment. Like Crazy Train by Ozzy, Hell’s Bells by AC/DC, and Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones. But there is only one song that I refuse to play unless it’s on full blast: What Goes On by the Velvet Underground.
God part II, U2
I’ll second Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull
The Real Me by The Who. God, I love that bass part.
And, stay with me here, I Only Want to Be With You by Dusty Springfield. I can’t explain it, but to me it’s a crank-it-up-and-rip-off-the-knob song.
Egmont Overture, Beethoven
O Fortuna from Carmina Burana, Orff
Godspeed, Anberlin
A Favour House Atlantic, Coheed and Cambria
Ana Ng They Might Be Giants
Also, the beginning of Don’t Stand so Close to Me '86. It’s the only good part of the song and still not all that great, but it’s only fully appreciated at max volume.
Then Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd falls in that category…
Turn it up…
The liner notes from the Rolling Stones’ Sticky Fingers: “A bit of advice from Jimmy M [producer Jimmy Miller] - Maximum cycle characteristics and frequency response of high decibel level have been set according to standards suggested in the GUY STEVENS Producer Manual, chart R-35, in index, page 304. These recommended standards were compiled by the same authority having recently measured audible damage created by supersonic aircraft - if for ay reason you do not agree with the standards - turn it up.”

[Robert Duvall]“Scares the hell out of the slopes; my boys love it!”[/RD]
Almost all classical music, but especially, Beethoven’s 9th, 4th movement. Beethoven’s 3rd too, maybe.
The Cult’s entire Electric album.
I have a “Max Volume” playlist for just these moods…some choice bites:
“Jack The Stripper/Fairies Wear Boots” by Black Sabbath
“Still in Hollywood” by Concrete Blonde
“Stutter” by Elastica
“Pigs in Zen” by Janes Addiction
“Purr” by Sonic Youth
“Why do you Love Me” by Garbage
