Songs with wind?

Not songs that fart, songs that use a wind sound/effect. I can think of 2 off the top of my head:

Wish You Were Here–Pink Floyd (at the end)
Funeral for a Friend–Elton John (at the beginning)

There must be others.

The beginning of Dr. Jimmy, by the Who.

Silver Machine by Hawkwind.

Ride Like the Wind, Christopher Cross.

Isn’t the very beginning of the Doobie Brothers’ Old Black Water a few seconds of wind noises before the music fades in?

Asleep - The Smiths

I think Bridge of Sighs by Robin Trower has wind. Youtube link.

Life In A Northern Town, from the one-hit-wonder 80s band “The Dream Academy”.

Thriller?

If you’re going to mention Pink Floyd, you can’t leave out “Echoes”.

“Winter Time” - Steve Miller Band

Another from Pink Floyd: “One of These Days”

Frank Zappa, “Teenage Wind” of course.

The Beatles, “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” has a white noise wind effect towards the end.

“Fly Like an Eagle,” Steve Miller Band

Slightly off-topic, but the Grateful Dead’s Sunrise:

Richard Strauss’s Don Quixote, and other orchestral works that use a wind machine.

Bon Jovi’s “Dead or Alive”

Air Supply’s Lost in Love

IIRC, “Pat a Pan” by Mannheim Steamroller has a repeated wind effect.

Here’s a thread I started about a year ago asking this question.
