My
moment is when Gemma tells her to unscrew her dick 'cause it’s fun to be a girl.
The head Supremacist is a complete hypocrite looking to set up a white mafia in California and he doesn’t care who he has to work with to get it done. Buzz-cut supremacist is a true believe and when he finds out about the hypocrisy, one of them will die.
I don’t want a rehash of Hamlet all the way through. I’m familiar with how it goes and know how it ends.
I’m interested in seeing if Gemma tries to kill buzz-cut now that she knows who he is.
Gemma is too smart to be Gertrude, but the consequences of her web-weaving might get her in the same place. If she had to choose between Clay and the Club and her only son, my bet is she goes with Jax, but botches it because Jax mistakenly anticipates her. But that would be Hamlet. Tara is prime Ophelia material. And as a heart surgeon, she should be a hell of a lot smarter.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out that Gemma had a direct hand in killing John Teller.
Oh I think Gemma’s cocked and locked but like you said, the conflict between Zobelle and Weston has already been set up, so I can’t see Gemma offing him so early in the season. She could still earn badass points for wounding him though.
Also, if Gemma kills Weston, there’s a chance the rape will come to light and I think we had that pegged as a late season plot point. I’m assuming that the revelation of Gemma’s secret will push Clay and Jax back together.
SOA feels a tad predictable this year but I find I don’t care in the least. Even if it all plays out exactly the way we’ve speculated in this thread, it’s still kickass television.
Like Unser, I was surprised that Hale is looking the other way on the drug dealers and makers in order to punish the gun runners. I’d rather have guns in my community than meth labs, sellers and users. And it isn’t a close call. Hale is now all but a crooked cop in a town run by the other mob and the other mob knows it before he does.
Bobby taking sex for keeping his mouth shut about the books seems really stupid and out of character too. In view of the fact that the club owes the porn girl $50,000, they might be able to work something out. But I was also under the impression that they were not partners before last episode. Also the cooked books explains why she thought last episode that Jax might kill her.
Yeah, now that Hale thinks the ends justify the means, he’s no better than the scum he chooses to rail against. I’ll not be surprised if there isn’t some sort of Waterloo concerning his new flip-flop, all courtesy of Samcro.
I suspect that something bad will happen to Hale that brings him back around to the good side. Story-wise, it helps to have someone decent and powerful about for contrast.
Possibly something bad will happen to Tara, seeing as he loves/wants her, due to something he had allowed.
You know, I used to didn’t like Tara, but so far this season she’s grown on me. I hope she continues to be more laid back and potentially kick ass then she was last year. I really wanted to see her bitchslap that porn chick, but I suppose her comeuppance was better this way.
And certainly happier for us female viewers ogling Jax’s ass.
The real reason faithfool watches the show comes clear.
huh
No, it’s not meaningful or believable. Which is why it is fun to watch. Never missed an episode. When I want meaningful and believable I reach for my wife or call a friend
Just to add further, I think Hale is the Laertes to Jax’s Hamlet.
Okay, some of this could be fanwanked so correct me if I’m wrong.
Otto and Luann had the porn business before Otto went to jail, therefore the SOA was always involved to a degree through Otto.
Not to mention that per Clay in the first episode, nothing goes on in charming that the Sons don’t run or get a piece of. So either way, Luann would have been tithing to the SOA well before the loan last season.
When Jax made the partnership deal with Luann he said they’d be 50/50 and the debt would be forgiven, so the $50,000 isn’t an issue any more.
As for Bobby, I’m certain that he’s not just doing it for sex, however porntastic Luann might be. When presented with an opportunity to resolve his financial woes and Luann as a built-in fall guy, why the hell would he just settle for sex?
Hava Nagila has never been more entertaining, keep rocking Bobby.
My guess would be that Otto was the guy from SOA who ran the protection racket of whatever porn producer Luanne worked for, he fell for her and got her a loan from Samcro to start her own porn empire (I hazily recall Otto begging Jax to help Luann because he (Otto) promised her she’d never have to be in front of the camera ever again).
Samcro possibly (hell, probably) made her repay much more than the original loan in small increments, but nickels and dimes compared to a 50% partnership.
I think there is a club rule that you don’t have sex with another members wife. Otto is still a member of Sam Crow even though he’s in jail. Bobby can’t tell anyone he’s having sex with Otto’s wife or else there will be consequences for him to face.
An old lady is entitled to hook up with another member if her old man is in prison. And Otto ain’t getting out for a long time after attacking the ATF agent. It would be at least his second strike.
Where did you hear that? I don’t think Luanne was serious when she mentioned the “prison clause.”
I heard it from Luanne, same as you. You see, I’ve never been in an outlaw motorcycle club. And its gotta come up fairly often.
Last night’s episode was fun! I loved Tig’s crash and taunting the bounty hunters, that was gold. A livestock container, really Tig? I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. I know Tig is a deplorable human but I find myself liking him a lot.
Piney driving through the motel was great, I wondered if they would run over Tig on accident when they did it though, that would have been something. Speaking of the rescue, Go Half-Sack!
I wanted to crawl through the screen and give Uncer a hug, the big greasy softie. Last season Uncer mentioned to Darby that his wife was dark skinned. I’m a little scared for him and his family now that he’s snarled at the white supremacists.
I love that someone at the hospital finally mentioned that Tara has an odd set of friends. I can’t imagine what my coworkers would say if bikers and cops routinely visited my desk.
I’m glad that Clay’s hands finally became an issue outside his home. He was being an ass but it was awful watching him fail to right his bike. Opie was great with Clay, he was great all around! He’s coming off very sympathetic, hell, I’m sick of Jax nagging him. It makes sense that he would be pissed at Jax for causing tension in the club, that’s the family he’s leaning on now.
I was really disappointed that Gemma didn’t shoot Weston. It seemed realistic to me when she decided not to kill him but I was still a little irked. Having Jax or Clay slay her demons while she huddles in the back weeping undercuts her character in a big way. I hope we get to see a lot of maneuvering and machination on her part with regard to taking down Zobelle and company. I suppose she doesn’t have to be John Wayne, but it would be nice not to fall so far into the “avenge my wife/mother” trope that Gemma the hardass is lost.
Same here. I think part of Tig’s appeal is that he genuinely seems to have absolutely no idea how despicable he is. He just does nasty shit, and gets all surprised when people around are squicked by his behavior.
