Holy shit! That would be a serious mind fuck. I’d never see that coming.
I accept that.

Sutter wants seven seasons!? Kickass.
Clay doesn’t hesitate to treat people like shit. It would be fitting if his death was unremarkable or at the hands of a lesser character. I’m sure it will be satisfying no matter who kills him.
That’s so true! Has Perlman ever played a truly sympathetic character? He has the asshole vibe down pretty good IMO.
nitpick
Big Otto is not First 9. First 9 was Otto Moran.
I know Sutter is big on surprise twists (that we all love and appreciate), so I could definitely see Otto or Unser (regardless of him not being a Son) doing Clay in. But on that note, I can’t imagine it not being Jax.
I mean, SOA is supposed to be based off of Hamlet, right? So wouldn’t that make the most sense in keeping with that theme then? Or am I misremembering the play too much?
Anyway, this is my favoritest show of all time and I think Katy Sagal deserves some serious hardware for her portrayal of Gemma. I also think the cast in general, as well as their guest stars, are excellent overall. I’m psyched that Sutter envisions seven seasons. If only we don’t lose too many good characters along the way.
I’m still despondent over Half Sac’s demise. I don’t know how I’d deal with, say, the loss if Tara, who has really grown on me from not liking her in the beginning.
Can’t wait to see Clay get his. Bring it on!
At this point are there any SAMCRO members that are still fully on Clay’s side? Most seem to be following him because he has not yet been replaced as President and they are loyal to the club rather then any personal loyalty to Clay, himself.
Being Clay’s right hand man has distanced Tig from the rest of the club and Donna’s murder really pushed him to the outside. Clay doesn’t rely on Tig much any more and it’s obviously bothers Tig.
Tig’s about the only one I think Clay could count on.
Well, I’ll be damned.
Not after Tig finds out what Clay did to Jemma. Tig loves her. Raising his hand to her was the stupidest move Clay could make, no one will side with him after that.
Tig doesn’t just love her, he worships her. The chemistry between Tig and Gemma has been there since the beginning of the show. I would love to see the two of them get together.
My guess is that someone unexpected kills Clay. It won’t be Opie or Jax.
One of my buddies is convinced that Clay is somehow smooth enough to find a way to have Bobby take the fall. I think he’s insane. Bobby Elvis may indeed die, but I think it will be seperate from Clay getting whacked.
Good point about Tig, Clay really doesn’t have many cards left to play. I want him dead but I’ll be interested to see if Sutter can believably keep him around for another season.
I caught myself thinking that Juice’s situation was treading old ground considering Opie, Chibs, and Jax’s deals with law enforcement but realistically, the SOA would always be in the government’s crosshairs.
If Clay dies, doesn’t Jax almost have to morph into the bad guy as a failed savior of the MC? I suppose the last ep lends real credence to the Opie as Laertes theory - the MC might fall to infighting between Jax & Opie instead of Jax and Clay. Both of those suppositions are pretty negative but Sutter isn’t shy about reminding viewers that the SOA are bad guys no matter how much we love them, I don’t foresee a happy ending.
What is it with Ryan/Sutter and blowing up Kenny Johnson?
Who could imagine Gemma Morrow and Peg Bundy being played by the same actress? Gemma would poke an eye out from despair if she knew.
I think it’s because Kenny got a gig on Prime Suspect and couldn’t do both due to schedule conflict. And that sucks for him because PS just got cancelled. I’d have much rather seen him stick with Sons.
I’m loving this season, especially these last few episodes. Tonight’s was great, comedy relief interspersed with some serious drama. Unser is obviously setting it up so Opie will kill Clay, instead of Gemma putting herself in danger by attempting to do it herself.
I also love that they’ve brought Wendy back into the show. I’ve been expecting her to come back to form a relationship with Abel, and it was good to see her clean and sober and doing something productive with her life. It’s like she and Tara switched trajectories. Some on the TWOP forum think she’s being manipulative, but I didn’t see that at all. I saw a woman who has cleaned up her life attempting to see her son. And it wouldn’t be fair for Tara and Jax to keep her from doing that, if nothing else at least for Abel’s sake. It pisses me off that Gemma has the nerve to keep calling her a junkie whore, especially since Gemma has done far more questionable/criminal things than Wendy. As long as she stays clean, I think she’s better for Abel than either of his parents or grandparents.
Even worse for him is that he is unemployed again, as Prime Suspect is likely done. But that is what I thought too…‘they blew up Lem…again’.
Couldn’t just be a South Park shout-out, could it?
I understand Prime Suspect is about to start filming what will likely be its final episode. If they really want to keep it going, they’ll write in another explosion for him.
Does anyone else think that Otto’s whole deal with the Feds is just part of Jax’s “exit strategy?” I can see a big plot twist coming. There’s no way Otto would turn on Bobby, even with the knowledge of his ol’ lady.
