Random thought too butwhat’s the deal with Tara, this whole pregnancy is obviously fake right. So what is she going to have a fake miscarriage and blame it on something Jax did to prove he’s a danger to his other two kids? Also is Wendy secretly in on this plan with her and that’s why she got the gun from Gemma to show that she isn’t worth a shit either? Just don’t buy that Tara hasn’t talked to Wendy at all but she still wants her to be the kids guardian.
I think Wendy is maybe working her own angle. IDK what but maybe its about her getting even with Jax cause Jax dopped her up last season. & IDK whats up with the Tara pregnancy.
Im trying to figure out Bobbys angle. Is he trying to start his own charter or take over the Samcro charter? Say the guys Bobby picked would get voted into Samcro & then Bobby (at some point) would ask for a change of leadership vote & Bobby becomes the new Prez of Samcro.
I think Tara and Wendy are working together. Tara would have told Wendy that Gemma would respond to a rape scenario and would feel sorry for her. I think the pregnancy is fake, just to assure that Jax or Gemma won’t try to kill her. They’ve got some long con going on.
This is the only story line I’m really interested in. I just don’t care what happens to the rest of them. Even poor Nero, he was trying to be a good guy but Gemma contamination rubbed off all over him.
Eventually, maybe… but wasn’t Tig Jax’s wing man when he shot Damon Pope? Doesn’t Tig have a story to spill before they spill him?
Ah yes. Good point. I forgot about that.
This is Sons of Anarchy, you can’t predict it by looking for logical motivations, you have to look at the formulas the show uses. Tig is a sufficiently major character that if he died, it’d be on-screen at the end of an episode (and likely followed by a musical montage). He won’t die between episodes, so he must have a further plot purpose. The shot was framed with Pope’s guy obviously holding the piece of paper, which could just be a clue for slow-witted viewers that Jax had given up Tig’s location, but is more likely a hint that what Pope’s guy wanted was Tig, not Tig’s corpse. After all, it’s not his daughter that was killed, any revenge to be had is second-hand now.
I think if Tig hadn’t lied to Jax about the Persian brother he might not be in this mess. Jax told the 6er boss that he was getting rid of that which brings heat. This could very well apply to Tig as much as it does for the gun trade. Tig is not making Jax’ life any easier by killing people on a whim.
I agree, he’s just a slightly different version of the two ATF agents and the DOJ guy (Lincoln?). When he first appeared, I was hoping for more.
I think that would be a good way to end the series - have an opponent appear that is solid, has no self-serving motive, and has no weaknesses for the SOA or the Niners or the CIA to exploit.
Yep. One thing the show has been fairly consistent on: being unreliable is a death sentence, which means that the freedom that the club supposedly cherishes is a lie, as they are all bound by a ruthless code of conduct that in many ways is more restrictive than the law.
Me too. It’s anti-climactic when the show sets up the flaws which will prevent the lawman from taking the Sons down well in advance of the (doomed to fail) actual attempt to take them down (though, the time they didn’t, with Potter being foiled by the CIA, was far worse). At least with Agent Stahl they slowly revealed her character’s true nature. Early on, they had her doing stuff that was perhaps unethical (like creating the appearance that Opie had ratted on the club), but not illegal. By the end, she’s killing her own partner, framing Gemma, etc. With Torric, they’ve already introduced his drug problem, forging a legal document, murdering a prostitute…this show actually once had some restraint to it.
Lincoln Potter was that guy, and he had the club dead to rights until the CIA quashed it. Perhaps they could bring him back for the last season.
With all thats gone on in the past 4 episodes - is this the final season of SOA?
Already seems like the law men repeat themselves as you guys pointed out…what’s really next??
**Sidenote do you guys watch the show online? I can’t find a good site other than projectfreetv but they’re slow with the links sometimes.
Spoilers for 10/2 episode:I thought Logue had more episodes. It really seems like they are cutting costs and paring down the extras. I’m thinking that with Logue dead, it will be harder to dismiss the frame. Just a guess.
I did not see that coming. At least not until Clay gave the shiv to Otto.
I assumed it was for Otto to finish himself off. Didn’t see that coming, either.

I figured it was for EITHER Otto to end his own misery OR for Otto to rid himself of his tormenters.
I didn’t guess that Torick would be so careless. I guess the writers did sort of telegraph that, though. Over the last two episodes he was getting a little sloppy and desperate.
Do I understand correctly that the reason Tig is still alive is that, by giving up Tigg, Jax showed his loyalty to August? I suppose Tig, ultimately, is a dead man walking…
Well, with Torric gone, I’m guessing the season’s conflict will be Bobby gathering up various nomads and trying to retake Charming by force to set up Redwood as he thinks it should be.
And something about Gemma and Tara and their Byzantine custody struggle, but it’s hard for me to maintain interest in that.
And Tig figured it out.
