You’re right. :smack:
I’d have liked to have seen the scene wherein Tony finds out the kids name.
heh, the quote was even more ridiculous than that. “I lost 27 pounds for him, and he can’t quit smoking?”
In the earlier scene when she was complaining about his smoking, I was thinking to myself Jesus lady, you clearly can’t stop stuffing your face for more than five minutes, yet you can’t grasp how somebody else might have trouble stopping their vice? His imminent death is only a matter of degree; she’ll be dead from the twinkies and ding-dongs she keeps hidden in the bathroom just as surely as he died from cigarettes.
And then she busts out with the line above, as if somehow she had conquered her weight problem for him. Honey, your fat ass almost got people killed.
Also, can someone refresh my memory of the dig at Verizon?
I don’t remember, how did she almost get someone killed?
The Verizon dig was very off hand. He complained that he missed his message from Chris because of the bad Verizon service. It was when he walked into the Bada Bing!
Jim
Sack heard that Tony S had been making fat jokes about her.
Not Tony. I think Paulie started the joke, and Ralphie repeated it. But not Tony. The only woman he insults is Janice.
Johnny was ready to kill Ralph Cifaretto over insults to Ginny about her weight. I actually found that pretty touching (and wanted him to give it to Ralphie, that bastard). Johnny seemed like a truly devoted father and husband. His family life came across as being much more healthy and loving family in contrast with the screwed up Sopranos.
That’s my guess as well.
