I remember back, way back in my college days, a sorority that had to disband because its membership dropped under 50 members. But most fraternities had fewer than 50 members. A medium sized one would likely have 35-40 members. Over 50 would be large. A fraternity with under 15 members could at least hold on until some new blood came in.
What’s the deal? Do sororities really need more members? Why do many panhallenic councils require such a size? Is it a snooty girl thing?
