South Park 11/10 "Coon Vs.Coon & Friends"

LeBron got a lot of flak for choosing to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers (and his home state of Ohio) to go form a super team with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami. A lot of Cavs fans felt betrayed not just because he left, but because of how he did it - leaving fans hanging on what he was going to do in free agency, then announcing it with a cheesy special on ESPN called The Decision. The Nike commercial was a reaction to the criticism.

Oh, okay, I think I vaguely remember this. Well, him leaving the team, but the Nike commercial. Thanks!

Agree with the overall assessment of the ep–I enjoyed it too. That Cartman/Marc Anthony spoof will keep me giggling for a while.

This was my favorite set of episodes in quite a while. Awesome.

Oh, and the Justin Bieber thing killed me. Not the fact that Cartman and Chtulhu killed him, but the frenetic, crotch grabbing, half step too high version of his “Baby” song.

Does Bieber grab his crotch? I thought he was all wholesome.

It just occurred to me: The only people in the world who are aware of Kenny’s condition/superpower, and remember his every death and birth, are his parents. But they seem to accept it as a simple fact of life, not worth discussing with him or anyone else. They do not seem to have noticed that when Kenny dies, everybody else forgets. They are really that stupid. Yet Kenny isn’t, somehow; maybe because of his being conceived under the aegis (and possibly with some genetic material) of the Old Ones.

Or maybe just that high…

And this ep now has an entry on a TVTropes page:
