My wife and I used to watch Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli). Dunno if we saw Totoro, which is perhaps his most well-known character.

those are three different things.
AI generative animation is animation created entirely from text prompts. Deep Fakes are where you replace another person’s face with that of another person, using a bunch of videos of the second person’s face. And revenge porn is leaking nudes and pornography of a person. Originally mostly by ex-partners or catfishing* scammers. But now can also be deep fakes of someone else.
*catfishing: pretending to be someone else online, using fake images and such, usually in a dating or sexual context

Has AI generative animation reached the point where you can suggest Santa do lewd things with young girls? I thought it was still just running water, waves and wind in the trees level, or something completely abstract and usually just a still picture.

You are way, way out of touch with the state of the art. But (as I mentioned) censorship on Sora is very high. I have no doubt that Sora would be capable of showing Santa peeing on an elementary school girl, but as I mentioned before, censorship is extremely high. I doubt it would allow anyone peeing on anything. And it very wary of letting you do anything even slightly suggestive with adult women, much less little girls.

If I wanted to I could have scripted it more extensively on dialog and actions instead of letting Sora be its own weird self.

Shouldn’t take more than a couple-three minutes.
There are ways to “hack” various AI by giving it an initial prompt to behave a certain way and then asking the things in the same session that it would refuse or answer a different way. Initially it was to get past text generation censorship but more recently for image and video generation.
I am indeed, way, way out of touch. I dual-minored in AI and Computer graphics in the 80’s and never thought the two, combined, would be the end of the world.
