It’s just a joke about how Fox News ignores anything that might cast suspicion upon Trump. They really needed a counter example of them losing their shit over a batshit conspiracy theory about Taylor Swift or somebody to make that joke land.
Yeah, that could have worked. As @Joey_P and @Coriolanus intimated, this part of the episode didn’t quite come off.
Still, they did manage to get quite a few points made. I’m very interested to see what’s coming next!
The UK has South Park on Comedy Central the day after broadcast. I think they’ve broadcast on there since the late 90s, I think that’s where I saw the Santa vs Jesus episode. I’ve no idea if they censor it currently, I don’t get the channel (its cable). Channel 4 (terrestrial) may have broadcast it for a while over the last 20 years.
I’ve no real idea why you’d say the UK doesn’t show South Park. There has been a large quantity of right wing misinformation about the UK in the last few years, with Herr Pluggs, sorry, Elon Musk, being one of the loudest in recent times.
