I saw a Rob Schneider commercial a few days after seeing that episode of South Park. The SP parodies are really not that exagerrated.

I wouldn’t hold out too much hope for finding discussions of the episode on any “official” JE message boards. We’re so used to free, open discussion here, we frequently forget that the rest of the world doesn’t always work that way. I bet any threads on the episode on an official Edward board would get deleted with much rapidity.

On a tangent, did y’all catch PVP Online’s story about John Edwards last April? It was fantastic, and went on for about two weeks, IIRC. (Just keep choosing “next comic” as you go through them).

Note for anyone with a cable connection: Southpark episodes are very easy to find on the net since Parker and Stone have given free reign to episode traders. If anyone wants to see the episode and the mods don’t frown on it I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.

After tonight’s episode and their jokes on the anti drug adds i’m starting to think southpark gets all of their ideas from the SDMB…
It always warms my heart to see that South Park gets plenty of (mostly positive) attention around here. It truly is a great and intelligent show and very few people recognize that. Kudos to all of you fellow SP dopers.

Well, as Silentgoldfish pointed out, Matt and Trey think it’s pretty cool that their work is being shared on the Internet. Hell, the Internet created a lot of fans for South Park before the show even premiered on Comedy Central. The two pilot shorts were traded extensively online long before CC picked the show up.
So, with that said, I’m going to post a link to a site with a low-quality (~40MB) RealMedia encode of the John Edwards episode. The same site also has a few other South Park episodes available for download. Just click on the “Latest Episode” link near the top of the page, choose season 6, and scroll down to the bottom of the page. There’s a few broken links there, so to save you time, I’ll just tell you that Mirror 3, Download Link 2 worked fine when I tested it.
If you’re interested in higher quality episodes, like Divx or an MPEG that you can burn to a VCD and watch in your DVD player, try IRC. Connect to one of the major networks and type “/list south” to find a South Park channel.
