I’m not sure if I can make it. It’s during birthday week in my family–April 9th is my sister, 11th is my dad, 13th is Brian’s, and the 16th is mine. Usually, we all get together for a collaborative celebration.

Melin and the boys are off to Las Vegas today, so you all are stuck with me for planning purposes. And I’ll be joining them on Wednesday, so you won’t be hearing from either of us then until Saturday.
We are okay for the 15th, and maybe we ought to go ahead, and then plan another one shortly thereafter? Or totally reschedule, either way is fine. Melin and I will be out of town the last weekend in April (we are going to El Paso to visit MajorMD and her husband). Melin’s birthday is May 3 (I’m supposed to tell you that she’s going to be 33. Again. :)), so I’m not sure what we will be doing the following weekend to celebrate, but one of those days should be open (first weekend in May).

It’s on Santa Monica Blvd., just past 2nd Street. Can’t miss it.
I usually take Santa Monica Blvd. to 2nd Street and turn right, parking in the structure. Exit the structure and cross the street (there’s a Lemmle’s Theatre there). Turn left and cross Santa Monica Blvd. Turn right and it’s right next door to the English shop. OTOH, if you get lucky you can just park at the curb in front of it and not have to walk!

Yosemite in April? Be prepared to see snow! I’m not joking. Some of the roads up there aren’t clear till Memorial Day!

Sorry folks for waiting so long to confirm, but this week-end is the day my parents are leaving and I have to spend the day with them. Please count me in for next time! (Perhaps a post on Opal’s Teeming Millions Board will bring in more people.)
