I once saw a poster for a movie called Space Sluts in the Slammer. It was B&W and showed a bunch of skimpily dressed babes being paraded before a Darth-Vader-like figure glowering on a throne. Was this a joke poster, or was there ever such a movie? I can’t find it on the SDMB.
According to Hollywood.com , Greg Kinnear worked on the advertising campaign for the movie.
But there’s no other cite for the movie on Hollywood.com, nor on the imdb. Did the movie ever get made?
If it did, it wasn’t under that title-there’s plenty of information there to let one find it. Kinnear worked for Empire Pictures only from about 1986 to sometime in 1987, if Hollywood.com is to be believed; Charles Band was producer or executive producer for that label’s films, and his (enormous) output in that period doesn’t include a film of that title, there or at the IMDB … that may have morphed into this gem of modern cinema, which is the only one of his films of that period that looks to have had scenes along those lines …
OTOH, this did not prevent the porn industry from doing their usual title-parody thing and making something called “Sex Sluts in the Slammer”. (“Sex Sluts”? Is that anything like “War Soldiers” or “Theft Robbers”??)
