Identify this movie - 80's spoof or comedy kind of like Alien(s)

I think this one is pretty easy compared to some I’ve seen on here. Here is what I remember.

  • Comedy, a send-up or spoof.
  • It’s a send up of the Alien movie and other space movies
  • The alien is really ugly, but in the end, they have him trapped in the airlock. They look at him and realize he’s not that bad, just a being trying to make his way through the universe. Then they press the airlock button and space his butt. Got a big laugh from me as a kid.
  • I saw it on tape in the 1980’s. I’m almost positive it was from the 80’s, not 70’s.

I can’t remember any of the stars or much else about it. That scene where they almost don’t space the alien and then decide to was the only big laugh for me and my brother watching it as a kid.
