Special TV trivia: Identify the show from the recurring line

OK, I yield to your superior Batman knowledge. I haven’t seen the show in more than a decade, probably, although I did meet Adam West a few years back. He’s a very friendly person who doesn’t take himself too seriously.

Zap!

Some new ones:

  1. (a few unintelligible syllables) “Incoming message from The Big Giant Head!”
  2. “That reminds me of a story…”
  3. “The continuing stohhhhhhry of a veterinarian who has gone to the dogs.”
  4. “Olympia!”
  5. “Everybody loves somebody sometime…”
  6. “Here’s the toss-up.”
  7. “Can you say ‘neighborhood’?”
  8. “You rang?”
  9. “I’m Steve Thomas;” “I’m Norm Abram”; “and I’m Tom Silva…”
  10. “Be careful out there.”

Third Rock from the Sun

I thought I knew some of these other ones, but I don’t. I’m shamed.

Grandpa on “The Simpsons.”

Actually, it’s a “quack” who’s gone to the dogs, and it’s “Veterinarians Hospital” from the Muppet Show.

I knew you could! “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood”

Lurch from “The Adams Family.”

“This Old House”

“Hill Street Blues”

Here’s a few:

  1. “What a revoltin’ development this is!”

  2. “Dumbass!”

  3. “Please state the nature of your medical emergency.”

  4. “Make it so!”

  5. “I’m Larry, this is my brother Darryl, and this is my other brother Darryl.”

  6. “Five thousand, six hundred and four(?) irridiated haggises. . .”

Quite the chum, 'eh?

“Please state the nature of your medical emergency.”

Star Trek: Voyager

“Make it so!”

Star Trek: The Next Generation

Yes, Elaine used to “get out!” to Jerry.
“Son of a gun.”

Joey Bishop Show

Ahhh, not much to share. He appeared at a collector car auction I attended awhile back. I was in the lounge at the convention center when I saw him sitting at at table in the back of the room. I went over and introduced myself and chatted with him for about five minutes until his handlers appeared to take him to his next appointment.

“Olympia!” came from an animated Hercules series we saw on TV in the early 60s. At the end of each adventure Hercules would take off, like Superman, toward Mt. Olympus and say “Olympia!” as he started flying. (I wonder if he meant Olympia Beer?)

I stand corrected about Veterinarians Hospital. :o
“That reminds me of a story” came from Benson; whenever Governor Gatling (James Noble) would say this line, whoever else was present–Benson, Miss Kraus, Pete, Clayton, etc.–would wince and slip away.
“Holy crap!” comes, I think, from Frank Barone (Peter Boyle) on Everybody Loves Raymond.

Ahhh, nothing to be embarrassed about dougie. Hey, I’ll admit I was wr. . .wro. . .wrrrr. . .mistaken about the “Benson” line.

The ones we still need answers for are. . .
“What a revoltin’ development this is!” (this is an oldie)

“Dumbass!”

“Five thousand, six hundred and four(?) irridiated haggises. . .” (this one’s British, if it helps)
Zap!

Beevis and Butthead?

Hmmm. That’s an acceptable answer, monster (now that I think about it) but not the one I was looking for.

So either “Beavis and Butthead” or {thought I was going to give you the answer, huh?} is acceptable.

New hint: The show I was originally looking for is on Fox.
Zap!

I’ve got it!! It’s what Red lovingly calls his son Eric on That 70’s Show!

See the very first post in this thread (and the very first answer).

DINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDINGDING!
You’ve got it, monster! Now tell him what he’s won, Jay Stewart!

[Jay Stewart] Not a damn thing, Monty! [/Jay Stewart]
