Splitting the Difference--Dead Thread for The Split

And it doesn’t matter which is true. Pedescribe won’t answer the question because it ties in directly to the setup of the game. It’d be like asking “How many scum are out there?” and expecting a response. Even if Zeriel had not claimed, the question would not be answered.

Yes, exactly. Sorry…I posted rather at random without finishing the thought, which is what you brought up. I was getting at it truly doesn’t matter from Pedescribe’s end of things - there was no other way he could’ve answered - but I’ll be interested to see if that does come up again in-game…and how people will read it if it does. Considering that it could be taken either way, as I said, I think it’ll be interesting to see how people handle it.

I have no idea what it’ll mean, but I do think it has the potential for a lovely shitstorm, should anyone care to fan it so.

DANGIT, PEDESCRIBE, that Testerizer is driving me nuts.

No idea what those pretty colors mean. None. What. So. Freaking. Ever.

Me too. They’re insane.

I like that everyone’s posting more, though it is getting way harder to keep up with everyone’s posting. I still think Elendil’s needs to die, like soon.

Zeriel isn’t lying about that, at least. It was something I strongly (I thought) hinted at, and tried to get people to strongly keep it in mind as a logical possibility, without outright saying that I knew b/c I was an investigator. I was satisfied that wolves as farmers/ranchers could not be ruled out as a possibility after pedescribe’s post, but imagine my chagrin when Zeriel just boops along and spells it all out.

The thing is, that’s no guarantee that he’s an (town-aligned) investigator. Wolves would likely be aware of their farmer/rancher status anyway.

And I feel like an idiot for being so strongly against that being a possibility. Still–now, it boggles my mind that Werewolves are divided into Farmers & Ranchers. What’s the point?

Probably just complicates things a little more. Maybe there’s something with the Testerizer. Plus if we Townies were playing for our sides, it means that they are, too. So it’s like the split is symmetrical.

They’re not split for the purposes of winning, I’m sure, that’s still just Wolves vs. Ranchers vs. Farmers. Wolves don’t count for the latter two since they have to be all dead for anyone else to win.
It’s strictly as a disguise since the investigators would be able to sniff them out otherwise, and that would make their roles too powerful for this game.

Oh, hm, yeah, you’re right. I think you’re right about the investigator thing.

I wish some wolves would die and get in here. It’s sad and lonely with only dead townies.

Seriously. I’m already dying to know what’s going on over at the Supar Sekrit Werewolf Boards. I think they’re playing this very well.

I hope pedescribe gives us all access to what was said at those boards once the game is finished. I’d love to see them cackling over all of our missteps.

Well, it’s me, the first Werewolf to go. I don’t think I’m cut out for these games, but it was fun while it lasted.

I knew it!!

W00t! Finally got one! Sorry, old boy.

Ha! Score for the home team! Or some such expression of jubilation. Welcome to the graveyard Elendil’s Heir.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Elendil’s Heir’s “late” vote looks a little bit conveniently late? If Tel-whoever was Town, Elendil would have/should have voted for him right away. There was no reason to be late, especially with MHaye giving him a tie that he could justifiably break. By voting late, he establishes what looks like an attempt to push a last minute tie, when in reality a wolf was going down either way. But by looking like a Wolf who is trying to get Tel-who killed, he hopes to make Tel-who look like a Townie.

Tel-whoever must also be a werewolf, yes?

This is based solely on the last 10 posts of the Day. I haven’t been reading the whole game. What is the general feeling on Tel-whoever? People think he is scum right? Obviously, someone wants him dead since the vote was close.

Yes, Telcontar was the front-runner for lynching when I pulled off my smotth move.

Good try, Elendil’s Heir, but nyaah!

Your attempt at creating a last-minute tie vote to save your furry hide rang as pure scum even to me. But I don’t blame you for trying.

Actually, it wasn’t purposeful. I had a busy morning and while working my analysis of rexnervous, overlooked MHaye’s two-minutes-apart vote change. Whatever. My days were numbered anyway.

Oh, heavens. I was wrong.

Sorry, Daphne.
