Spoiler-filled question about The Path

I just started Season 2 and basically, my question is, did I skip a scene somewhere?

I see Steve wake up, run around frantically, with Eddie yelling after him that there is no light–and then I see Eddie back home working manual labor and having his kids visit him, no mention of the Steve wakeup event.

I was only watching in the background while doing something else so… did I miss something? I’m not seeing anything on re-viewing. Was the encounter with Steve just a vision? I thought it was being presented as real. I’m confused.

I think you need to watch it again.

Towards the end, Richard and Kodiak (new character played by James Remar) are led to Steve’s desiccated remains at the bottom of some cliffs in Peru. A Peruvian kid tells them that Steve was pushed off the cliff by a white man. Later on there is a flashback showing Eddie following Steve to the top of the cliffs, with Steve ranting blindly about finding the light. You then see Steve sailing off the cliff, but whether he tripped, jumped or was pushed is not shown. I’m sure Eddie will be accused of murdering Steve in an upcoming episode.

One of the reasons I checked out this show was Keir Dullea. It’s a little disappointing that he will only be shown in a coma or dead.
